THE SHELL BRANDING, VISUAL IDENTITY AND CAMPAIGNS

The Rady Shell at Jacobs ParkTM is a stunning new world-class outdoor performance venue along the San Diego waterfront. This architectural icon features state-of-the-art acoustics, lighting and technology – and 3600 views of the waterfront – promising performance-goers an awe-inspiring experience.

As San Diego Symphony’s trusted branding agency and having created the identity for the Symphony one year earlier, 4040 created a distinctive new visual identity system for the Shell that celebrates the beauty and form of this amazing venue, as well as the unique culture of San Diego, all while connecting back to the identity of its parent organization, the San Diego Symphony.

4040 also developed the inaugural season campaign concept, YOU BELONG HEAR, and a large suite of creative materials spanning multiple applications and media, including print, digital, experiential, and outdoor.
