Perfection Is Not the Point

What Still Matters

What Still Matters

I’m seeing a welcome shift. As AI gets more perfect, the imperfect starts to matter more.

Brands with more humanity, more personality, more real stories, and yes, more visible signs of the human hand, are the brands people are starting to notice. Because people notice what feels real.

AI can design the logo. AI can generate the image. AI can create endless versions of almost anything. But the real photograph, the hand-drawn type, the rough sketch, the thing that feels like someone actually touched it, those are the things that become more valuable.

Not because imperfection is the goal. Care still matters. Craft still matters. Taste still matters.

But when everything starts to look clean, optimized, and generated, people notice the work that carries evidence of care. Evidence of thinking. Evidence of feeling. Evidence that a person was there.

That is why I think the brands that win in this next chapter will not be the ones chasing perfection. They will be the ones brave enough to show personality. To show humanity.

Because when everyone can make something perfect, perfection stops being the difference.

Feeling becomes the difference. And feeling still comes from people.

That is what still matters.
