San Francisco Bay was home to the 2013 America’s Cup Finals and the Louis Vuitton Cup, America’s Cup Challenger Series. In preparation for the largest event to ever be hosted in San Francisco, Forty Forty was hired to develop the overall 2-1/2 year marketing strategy, as well as the initial integrated campaign to establish awareness and understanding of the event and it’s benefits to the San Francisco Bay Area. Termed the ‘Regional Benefits Campaign,’ the objective of this initial campaign was to create awareness, excitement, and initiate authentic conversations about the benefits and effects of the 2013 America’s Cup in San Francisco.
